Whether you need a small load for a local project or a continuous commercial pour, getting the right volume of concrete to site at the right time matters.
Beulah Concrete operates three plants and eight 5m³ trucks across the Eastern Bay of Plenty, giving the team the capacity to service smaller jobs while coordinating pours of 200m³ and more within a single day.
General orders can often be scheduled within one or two days, while larger pours of 100m³ to 200m³ are best booked around four weeks ahead.
If the required volume changes during a pour, the dispatch team works with the schedule to keep supply moving where capacity allows.

Three plants and eight trucks for pours of every size
Beulah Concrete operates eight concrete trucks, each with a 5m³ capacity, supported by three batching plants across the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
The additional plant capacity increases the number of customers that can be supplied during popular early morning periods, including the 6:30am slot that many contractors prefer.
For larger projects, around 40 truckloads can deliver more than 200m³ of concrete within a single day when the pour is planned and scheduled in advance.
Normal operating hours are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday pours available by appointment. The newest plant is also consented for 24-hour operation where a project requires work outside standard hours.
Ordering the right volume
There is no set minimum or maximum order quantity. Small loads from around 0.2m³ can be supplied on minimum rates, while large continuous pours can also be scheduled.
Most general orders can be fitted into the schedule within a day or two. Larger pours need more planning, with around four weeks' notice recommended for projects requiring 100m³ to 200m³ or more.
Under-ordering is one of the most common causes of delays during a pour, so Beulah's concrete calculators can help estimate the volume required for slabs, pads and post holes before you place your order.
Concrete strength, quantity, aggregate and colour requirements can then be confirmed with the team before batching.
Planning access before delivery
Ideally, a concrete truck can get within around three metres of the pour area. Where direct truck access isn't possible, concrete may need to be pumped or barrowed into place.
Beulah does not operate its own concrete pumps, but pumping can be coordinated through local providers when required. Discuss tight access, steep sites or longer pump distances when booking so the right delivery approach can be planned before dispatch.
The team also communicates around scheduling changes, including weather delays or earlier jobs running behind.
Audited batching from 17.5MPa to 50MPa
Beulah's most common orders are around 20 to 25 MPa, with higher-strength mixes available up to 50 MPa for engineered commercial and industrial work.
Batching is weighed and measured at the plant under the Concrete NZ Plant Audit Scheme and quality assured to NZS 3104. On-site lab technicians test throughout production.

A 200m³-plus pour, roughly 40 truckloads, can be supplied in a single day when booked and sequenced to suit the placing programme.
